These terms cover your use of the Space Access app for Confluence Cloud ("the app"), supplied by Kauê Natan Gonçalves Bidim, trading as Saoirse Software in Ireland ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means you accept them.
A licence to use the app on the Confluence site it is installed on, for as long as your subscription is active, for your own internal business purposes.
The app is charged at the price shown on its Atlassian Marketplace listing. Billing, invoicing, taxes and refunds are handled entirely by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, and their rules take precedence over anything on this page about payment.
Atlassian's open-source, nonprofit and academic discount programs apply to this app: open-source projects use it free. Atlassian checks eligibility and applies the discount when you buy.
Changing space permissions requires a paid Confluence plan. On the Free edition, Atlassian refuses every permission change — for this app, for any other app, and for Confluence's own screens. That is Atlassian's restriction, not ours, and no app can work around it. On Free you can still use the app to review and export access. The app states this on screen before you build a change, and it is stated on the Marketplace listing before you buy.
Nothing of yours is deleted or held hostage. The app stores no copy of your permissions, so your Confluence data is unaffected either way.
Concretely, while a subscription is not active: reviewing, filtering, exporting and the change history keep working — that is your own access review, and it is your data, not ours. Only bulk removal is turned off, and the app says so on screen before you build a change rather than failing after you press the button. Renewing turns it back on immediately; there is nothing to reinstall and nothing to restore.
The app is a tool for reviewing and changing Confluence space permissions. It is not a security audit, a compliance certification, or legal advice. It does not cover page-level restrictions, folders, or anything outside Confluence, and it never creates, deletes or deactivates users or groups. Deciding who should have access to what remains your decision, and you should check the preview before confirming a change.
The app runs on Atlassian's Forge platform and depends on Atlassian's infrastructure. We aim to keep it working and to fix problems promptly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service and we do not control Atlassian's uptime or its APIs.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost access or disruption resulting from permission changes you confirmed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Support is provided by email, in English, on business days. Write to support@saoirsesoftware.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Confluence site; billing stops under Atlassian's rules. Permissions you already changed stay as they are — uninstalling does not undo them. We may end this licence if the app is used in breach of these terms or of Atlassian's Marketplace terms.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
